Waiting for the Friday Night Run to start here at Bo’s Coffee. It’s a few days to the First Cebu All-Women Ultramarathon and our running group, Ungo Runners, is hosting a clinic to be handled by Dr. Raymund Bontol.
I can’t remember the last time I was here for the FNR. I miss running with my group, but there’s just so much to do I don’t know when I would ever find the time to run regularly again.
There was a time when a 21-km run on Sundays was the norm for me. Somehow, I doubt if I would survive five kilometers today.
Just came from a MagTV (ABS-CBN program) two-hour shoot on our QR code project with Smart so Max and I are not in our running attires. We will attend the clinic but won’t joining the night run. We’re so pleased that our project, which uses QR code to put information on heritage structures and other tourist attractions in Cebu City, is generating interest.
We strive to deliver an interactive guide to Cebu through our data tagging work on heritage and other tourist attractions so we’ve included videos and maps in the information we’re providing through QR codes.
If you ever come across a heritage structure in Parian in Cebu City with a marker containing a QR code, try scanning it and tell us what you think.
